About Us

IIHT – a pioneering and premier institute of Eastern India having glorious history of more than 42 years is working in close association with All India Institute of Local Self Government (AIILSG) Mumbai and Bharat Sevak Samaj  New Delhi/Chennai with dedicated service and imparting training in the Field of Sanitation and Primary Health Care .It organizes seminar, symposium and training workshop for empowering urban and rural community to become self reliant for all round development. IIHT also gives assistance to selected-training of trainers by developing highest quality, cost effective programmes for the Rural Primary Health Care Providers, Para Medics, Auxiliary and Community / Health Manager / Workers. The ultimate aim is to improve and expand the Community Health Service at Primary Health Care level and if required, secondary and tertiary level also.

It is under Indian Rural Medical Association (IRMA),  a pioneering and only body in India, embracing highly qualified doctors along with the rural PHC Providers of all the disciplines, viz Allopath, Homoeopaths, Ayurved,  Ayush,  Unani and others including Paramedical under one umbrella.
